JOHN ROBINSON.

This gentleman is one of the prosperous farmers of Scott county. He is a son of John L. and Johanna (Dwyer) Robinson, and was born eight miles southeast of Winchester, Scott County, Illinois, January 7, 1875. He has lived in that neighborhood all his life. He received a good education and early acquired by contact, an experience in farming which has proven of lasting value to him. He has been successful.

October 24, 1900, he was married to Miss Nellie McMahon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. McMahon of near Manchester. He has devoted his time to farming and stock raising and stands well up at the head of the list of progressive men in these industries. He owns 160 acres of choice farming land, where he now lives, has it well improved and supplied with every modern convenience. He is a pleasant gentleman, enjoys an extensive acquaintance and numbers his genuine friends by the score in all parts of the county.
