Obituary in Memory of Golden Hart
Golden Hart, son of the late William Winslow and Elizabeth Hart, was born at the country home near Exeter, Ill., August 6th, 1870, where he passed away on January 13th, 1931, at 10 o'clock p.m., age 60 years, 5 months and 7 days. He was one of the youngest of a family of ten children, all having preceded him to the great beyond except his twin sister, Mrs. Mollie Christison, of Barry, Pike County. He received his education in the country school and served two terms as school director at West Hickory.
In May, 1892, he was united in marriage to Miss Sadie Moore, and to this union the following children survive: William and Eral Hart, of this community; Mrs. Dovie Walker of Jacksonville; Mrs. Beulah Sears, of near Bluffs; Mrs. Ila Tash, and Floyd Hart of Oxville vicinity; Orval, Fred and Velma in the home, who are left to comfort their mother, after the departure of a devoted father who was ever faithful in his ministration to them. One daughter died in infancy.
