BOEHS, LOUIS HERMAN

Louis Herman Boehs, 86, of 841 W. Morton Ave., died Friday afternoon, Jan. 11, 1991, at Modern Care Convalescent Center.

He was born July 5, 1904, in Meredosia, the son of Henry and Eliza Boehs. He married Amelia Rebbe on March 14, 1926.

Surviving are his wife; one son Wilbur Boehs of Bluffs; one daughter, Mrs. Nathan (Carol) Hursh of Springfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Boehs; one daughter, Evelyn Marie Boehs; and one sister, Lydia Enke.

Mr. Boehs was a retired farmer and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Neelyville. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Williamson Funeral Home with family to meet friends from 6-8 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or the Lutheran retirement home.
