Amelia Maria Rebbe Boehs, 89, of Jacksonville and formerly of Bluffs, died Friday morning, Dec. 27, 1991, at Modern Care Convalescent Facility.

She was born Nov. 20, 1902, in Exeter, the daughter of Henry and Mary Meier Rebbe. She married Louis Boehs on March 14, 1926. He died Jan. 11, 1991.

She is survived by one son, Wilbur Boehs of rural Bluffs; one daughter, Mrs. Nathan (Carol) Hursh of Springfield; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one brother and four sisters.

Mrs. Boehs was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Neelyville. The remains will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Saturday at Williamson Funeral Home with family meeting friends 6-7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Retirement Home.
