Ordered by the court that Catherine Sexton, be and is hereby appointed gaurdian for John W. Homer, minor heir of Thomas B. Homer deceased. She having given bond in the sum of $500, dollars which bond has been duly approved by the court and that the clerk issue letters and record the same

Gaurdian Settlement
Catherine Sexton gaurdian of , John W. Homer, minor heir of, Thomas B. Homer, deceased, reports under oath of having received money from the U.S. goverment to the amount of $ 330. Then said gaurdian is allowed by the court for keeping clothing, boarding, and providing for in sickness, and in health, and schooling, her said ward for the space of two years and upwards together with her gaurdian fees $230. then deduct said $230 from the said $330. and it goes in the hands of said gaurdian in this settlement $100.

Whereas legal complaint has been made that Elizabeth Sexton, gaurdian for the minor heirs of Herman? Martin, deceased has removed from this State. And has failed in duty as such gaurdian, the same being established by legal evidence. And whereas the said Elizabeth Sexton has not made settlements and reports, to and with this court as the law directs , legal steps having been taken according to law under the circumstances, pertaining to her removal upon the grounds as indicated and set forth above, it is ordered by the court that the said Elizabeth Sexton be removed as gaurdian as aforesaid, and that her letters of Gaurdianship be annulled.

In the estate of Greenberry Sexton deceased, Jane Presgrove formerly Jane Sexton Administrix appeared for settlement and it appears that nothing has come into the hands said Administrix over and above the widow's allowance. She being the widow and that there is no prospect of any futher means belonging to said estate therefore it is ordered by the court that said Administrix be discharged as Administrix as aforesaid.

In the estate of,  Thomas Taylor deceased. William J. Ward and Thomas Moore, Administrators appeared for settlement and reported of having received $490.50, after neccessary deductions being made, only belonging to said estate which upon dividing such will give to the following heirs as follows, to George  $98.10, Emma J., Robert, Josephine, Ivey N. Taylor all Then in this settlement said Administrators has filed a voucher of having paid the said Emma J. Taylor $104. which if ---? than her dividend proportion and George Taylor $115.74 which is more than his dividend proportion which leaves the other aforesaid divided proportion in the hands of said Administrators in this settlement for a more full explanation examins the report of said Administrators now on file in the court
