Ella Lohr 1869-1896
Died, at the residence of her father, Samuel Lohr, in Adeline, Tuesday, February 18,1896, and buried in Adeline cemetery, Thursday, Miss Ella Lohr.
She was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, December 1, 1869. Aged at death twenty-six years, two months and eighteen days. She came with her parents to Adeline, Ogle Co., Ill., fifteen years ago. She leaves a father, four brothers, and four sisters. She became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church eight years ago. The funeral sermon was preached in M.E. church by Rev. Dr. More of Polo, Rev. H.O. Ross assisting in the services. The pall bearers were H.G. Blair, Fred Finkboner, Samuel McFarland, Charles Hammond and Homer Downey. Lewis Canode of Oregon, attended the burial.
