CHARLEY FORD
Ledford, Ill., October 25, 1907. In the matter of the Inquest upon the
body of Charley Ford. We the jury find from the evidence and the condition
of the body that Chas. Ford came to his death as a result of a gun shot
wound in the hands of party unknown to us. A. D. Stricklin, H. Hawks, Luther

JAMES McCLINTOC
Saline County, Ill. In the matter of the inquisition on the body of James
McClintoc deceased, held at Carrier Mills, on the twenty eighth day of
October 1907. We, the undersigned, Jurors, sworn to inquire of the death
of the said James McClintoc on oath do find that he came to his death by
a wound inflicted by shot fired from a shot gun in the hands of one Elmer
Franklin at Carrier Mills, on the 27th day of October 1907. Said shot
causing or producing a wound covering a space of about 7 1/2 inches up
and down and about four inches from left to right, said shot penetrating
the vitals of said James McClintoc causing instant death of him the said
James McClintock. Therefore we do recommend that said Elmer Franklin be

JOE CINSETTI
In the matter of the inquisition on the body of Joe Cinsetti deceased,
held at Eldorado on the twentieth day of February 1913. We, the undersigned,
Jurors, sworn to inquire of the death of Joe Cinsetti on oath do find that
he came to his death by gas explosion in the mine of the Eldorado Coal
& Mining Company by the evidence presented to us we find that the Eldorado
Coal & Mining Company has violated the provisions of the state mining
laws in the provisions there stated, that we find that the cross cuts was
not driven at distance of 60 feet, that gas was allowed to accumulate in
places not working. We find 2 open cross cuts in 3rd & 4th west entry

In the matter of the inquisition on the body of August Moretto deceased,
held at Eldorado on the twentieth day of February 1913. We, the undersigned,
Jurors, sworn to inquire of the death of August Moretto on oath do find
that he came to his death by gas explosion in the mine of the Eldorado
Coal & Mining Company by the evidence presented to us we find that
the Eldorado Coal & Mining Company has violated the provision of the
state mining laws in the provision there stated. That we find that the
cross cuts was not driven at distance 60 feet. That the gas was allowed
to accumulate in places not working. We find two open cross cuts in 3rd
& 4th west entry. It is our honest opinion this caused the explosion.

that he came to his death by gas explosion in the mine of the Eldorado
Coal & Mining Company by thge evidence presented to us we find that
the Eldorado Coal and Mining Co. has violated the provision of the state

was not driven at distance of 60 feet that the gas was allowed to accumulate

that he came to his death by a gun shot wound from the hands of William
Sekavich alias William Sora, on the 24th day of March 1913,
at the home of Anna Ostrauskis. We recommend that William Sekavich
alias Sora, be held without bail to await the action of the grand

Sekavich alias William Sora, on the 24th day of March 1913,

he came to his death by accidentally falling from his wagon loaded with
furniture, drawn by a team of horses. The accident occurred at the south

Jr., acting in self defense and we recommend that he be released without

Eldorado, Ill., on the 15th day of April 1913, from which he died 3 days
