The usual attestation clause follows and is signed by William Jackson and D. D. Stevens both residing in Shabbona, DeKalb County, Illinois.
April 12th, 1887. Inventory filed. Shows that he owned 85 acres on Section 14, Twp. 38 R.3 being the N.85 acres of the S. W. 1/4 (The description SW.1/4 is an error as I know of my own personal knowledge that he never owned any land on said 1/4 but that he did own land on the N. E. 1/4 of said section. Abstractor.) Personal property to the amount of $17.25 and no notes nor accounts.
Among the papers in the case, but not filed, I find an affidavit setting forth that Laura C. Pattee died on or about the 29th day of December, 1890. Subscribed and sworn to on the 2d day of April, 1891.
by Albion Pattee.
