Events
Attend one of our events. Check the schedule below for dates and times. We meet at Spring Creek United Church of Christ, 4500 Spring Creek Road, Rockford, IL.
Monthly meetings are held September through May on the first Saturday of the month and start at 1:30 pm. Details of programs appear in the Newsletters.
Presentations are made at each meeting and feature experts on a variety of engaging topics. Question and Answer sessions follow.

Our speaker will be George Findlen. He will lecture on the valuable information that may be hidden within some of those family secrets you’ve been asked or chosen not to document. George will focus on looking for explanations as to why our ancestors did what they did, and how we can come to understand our ancestors as three-dimensional humans with hopes and fears, successes and bitter disappointments, not two-dimensional wire trees on which we hang dates and places devoid of any meaning.
All interested persons are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
