WILLIS, COLLARD
Seeking into about Albert Willis and Phoebe Collard. Both were born in 1847; they married Dec. 21, 1864.
Were they born in White County? They lived here most of their lives.
Their daughter, Minnie Willis, born 1886, married Samuel R. Morris (born in 1883).
Minnie Willis Morris was my grandmother.

Searching for descendants of Thomas Franklin Churchwell, s/o Elias H. and Nancy J. (Baker) Churchwell.
Thomas was born in February 1861 in Tenn. His family moved to White County a short time later, where Thomas lived until his death in 1916.

The local newspaper one week in 1929 gave this report on car sales: Scigal Martin has purchased an Essex coach from Joe L. Organ, local Hudson-Essex dealer.
Rebstock Bros. have sold a Durant sedan to Charles Groff of Grayville.
A. L. Twilla is driving a new Chevrolet coach, purchased from the Lee Chevrolet company, local dealer.
R.L. Benson has purchased a coupe and Frank McDaniels of Maunie a truck from the same company.
