Location: On the north side of Winchester Road on the south bank of St. Mary's River about two miles northwest of Decatur in Root Township, Adams Co, IN There is a section located to the south of the drive before the main part of the cemetery. Some people believe this was a "Potter's Field" section for extremely poor people, but there is no proof of this. Most of the burials in this section are members of the Williams family.
