Decatur (Maplewood) Cemetery Burials
Introduction from the Cemetery Book

This is a listing of burials in Decatur
Cemetery (also known as Maplewood Cemetery) through 1999. We include Name, Section and Lot Number
in the cemetery, Age, and Date of Death.
Due to a lack of record keeping many years ago, we do not have some information. If you can help
with any information, please notify the cemetery. There is a map of the cemetery taped to the window of
the cemetery maintenance building. It will assist you in locating the gravesite. If you need further
assistance, please call Clayton Smith, Superintendent, at 260-724-2543.
Decatur Cemetery is a private, not-for-profit corporation. The Corporation receives no tax money,
and is operated entirely out of revenues from burials and the sale of grave lots, income from the
perpetual care fund, and contributions. Your generosity would be greatly appreciated.
