Cr.; French, Fre.; Hartford, Hart.; Jefferson, Jef.; Kirkland, Kirk.; Monroe, Mon.; Preble, Preb.; Root, Root.; St. Mary's, St. Mr.; Union, Un.; Wabash, Wab.; Washington, Wash.; Wayne, Way. (ed. note - there is no Wayne Township in Adams Co., Indiana.)
