The object of this project is to make information available for genealogical research. This project was started late fall of 2008. This is an ongoing project which will hopefully be completed by 2011. The known cemeteries in Allen County are listed by township. Links to the township pages can be found on the left of this page. Each township page lists the cemeteries found in that township. There will be a link after the cemetery name if the cemetery has been documented. Use the search function in the upper left hand corner of the page to help locate a person's tombstone. Since the tombstones in these transcriptions are listed alphabetically by last name it is best to list the surname first and then the given name. Do not place a comma between the last and first name. Requests to photograph specific tombstones are not being taken at this time. There is no other information on any person other than what is listed. The photographs are copyrighted by the Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter, NSDAR and may not be copied or published in any way for profit. Copies of the photos may be printed for your personal use only. Please give the Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter, NSDAR credit when documenting where the transcriptions and photos were found. If you know of any other tombstones or other small family cemeteries that are not currently on our website we would love to know about them so we could add them.
