Listed below is the transcription of the tombstones in the Oak Grove Bullard Family Cemetery, Aboite Township, Allen County, Indiana. The cemetery is located at 3801 Sleepy Hollow Lane, on the east side of US 24 south, at Aboite Center Road. This cemetery is no longer in use. This cemetery was mowed BUT it desperately needs some attention. There were some tombstones that were in areas that were hugely overgrown with vines, etc. There were areas that were at the perimeter and are overgrown into the cemetery and these areas had some stones in the perimeter area. Some tombstones had trees, bushes, etc that were overgrown over/around the stones. There was one huge dead spruce tree in the middle of the cemetery. There were some trees that were cut down but not hauled away. Some big beautiful bronze tombstones have fallen over. The cemetery was photographed and transcribed in November of 2008. All stones in place at that time were included. If there is a photo of the tombstone, there will be a link after the name.

Information that pertains to a single individual is listed after their name. If the information pertains to multiple names, such as a marriage date, it is listed after all the names.

In some instances the stones were very worn and hard to read. In 1932 the DAR did a reading of the cemetery and in the 1980’s the Allen County Genealogical Society (ACGSI) did a reading. The information from these readings was used if the stones were unreadable or if the stones were not found.

At this time, requests to photograph specific tombstones are not being taken. There is no other information on any person other than what is listed.
