The Ohio Valley Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, will meet this Saturday, February 4, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the second floor Bayard Room of Willard Library, comer of Division and First Avenue in Evansville. This meeting's program is entitled: "Catamount on the Attack: Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys'" by Compatriot Robert N. "Bob" Hall. You will be glad that you came to meeting to hear him speak. Bring someone with you for the meeting and program! For those interested, lunch will follow Saturday's meeting at Grandy's, corner of First and Diamond avenues, for those interested.

Among the more recent, local events were the Madisonville Veteran's Day Parade on November 16, 2005, Downtown Evansville Holiday Parade on November 20th. and Boonville's Christmas Parade on December 4th. Other events in Indiana included the Indiana Veteran's Day Parade in Indianapolis on November 11th - be sure to visit INSSAR.org for color photos and lots of other news and information about chapters and events around Indiana.

For the first time in over 10 years, the Ohio Valley Chapter hosted The House of Delegates Meeting (first quarterly state meeting for 2006) on January 21, 2006. Activities included an unscheduled, optional dinner, Friday evening with members from other parts of the state. On Saturday, the business portion of the meeting was highlighted by a program given by Compatriot John West of Evansville, and a catered lunch at the meeting location.

Dues notices were mailed during 2005. Please submit the amount due to Compatriot Adamson as soon as possible. Our membership has grown during the past year, and members of this chapter participated in many, many events around Evansville, and other parts of Indiana.
