The Sirloin Stockade was the setting for the Chapter's Annual Awards Banquet held on March 3, 2006.

18 individuals were given Color Guard Participation Certificates. John West presented a special award to a few of the Color Guard participants, the Ohio Valley Chapter (OVC) Color Guard Sock Award. A pair of socks is presented to those who have worn out their socks marching with the OVC Color Guard. T. Rex Legler, II socks were adorned with the Indiana University logo and Ken Gilkey had University of Kentucky's logo. Cheri Baumberger was surprised with a replacement SAR Good Citizens Pin since the one from last year was misplaced.

Many thanks go out to everyone who came early and stayed late to decorate and organize the meeting room. T. Rex Legler II served as the Awards Chair to select the recipients for the State and National SAR awards. Don Counts served as the Awards Banquet Chair. John West served as a wonderful Master of Ceremonies.
