Mary Scott Alexander

AUBURN - Mary Scott Alexander, 94,
of Auburn, died Saturday at 11:45 p.m. at DeKalb Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Alexander was a teacher, housewife, and vice president
and office manager for Alexander Inc.
She was a member of the Auburn United Methodist Church
and the Heimach Senior Center, where she was a former vice president.
She was born in Selma, Iowa, on June 7, 1904, to the
late George C. and Frances J. (Baker) Scott.
On April 19, 1928, she married Felix B. Alexander in
Forest City, Iowa. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, George of Willis, Texas,
and Wesley of North Fort Myers, Fla.; three daughters, Frances May Alexander
of Auburn, Mary Nelsen of Boulder, Colo., and Marguerite Brude of Houston;
15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by a sister, Doris
Trichie; and three brothers, Lawrence, Clarence and James Scott.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at
Feller Funeral Home in Waterloo. There will be no visitation, and burial
will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heimach Senior
Center in Auburn.
