Helen V. Wolfe Barrick

The Kendallville Publishing Company, Sunday, December
FORT WAYNE — Helen V. Wolfe Barrick,
82, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at the Laurels of DeKalb nursing
home in Butler.
She worked as a security officer for the Montgomery store
and the Reliable store. She retired in 1982 from L.S. Ayres after 15 years
of service. She was a member of Sky Line Community Church in Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 1, 1920, in Union Mills, N.C., to Pierce
and Pearl (Nanny) Miller.
Surviving are a son, Jim B. Wolfe of Columbia City; two
daughters, Molly V. Vakerics of Tucson, Ariz., and Mary Ellen Nuttle Crawford
of Auburn; four grandchildren, Sherry Wilson, Robin Norman, Dawn Register
and Jon McAfee; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers
and two sisters.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Feller Funeral
Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo. The Rev. Steve Eckart will officiate. Burial
will be in Woodlawn Cemetery of Auburn.
Calling is Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

or St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Auburn.
