Russel Jay Clark, 96, Hudson, died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 6, in DeKalb Healthcare Center, Auburn.
He was born to Edward and Emma Wagoner Clark in Hudson on Aug. 20, 1893, and was a lifetime area resident.
Mr. Clark was a retired farmer and veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 31 in Angola; and a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Hudson.
Surviving are one sister, Doris B. Cassel of Wolcottville, several nieces and nephews.
He married Perth Cray on Jan. 31, 1919, in Berrien Springs, Mich., and she preceded him in death May 1, 1976. Five brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Johnson Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. David Cornwell officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Cemetery, Hudson with American Legion military graveside rites.
