     Auburn—Ermel D. Drerup, 78, died Sunday at 6:33 a.m. in Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne. She had been a patient there since July 5.
     She was retired, and a graduate of Auburn High School. She was a lifetime resident of Auburn, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
     She was born Jan. 25, 1917 in Jackson Township to the late John L. and Blanche (Lochner) Drerup.
     She married Bernard L. Drerup on Nov. 28, 1936 in Auburn, and he died in 1940.
     Surviving her are one son, Bernard L. of Huntertown; two daughters, Ann E. Bassett of Auburn and Mary R. Ort of Evansville, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
     One sister, Wilma S. Steinger, preceded her in death.
     Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. in McComb, Dilgard & Cline Funeral Home, Auburn. A rosary service will be conducted Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
     Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Auburn, with calling after 10 a.m. The Rev. Raymond Balzer will officiate. Burial will be in the Auburn Catholic cemetery.
     Memorial contributions may be give to Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
