A very sudden death occurred at Newville Sunday
morning. Mr. Immanuel Easterday, whose home was at the Wyatt place
passed away without a moment’s warning. Mr. and Mrs. Easterday had
not yet got up when Mr. Easterday complained that his heart was acting queer,
after turning over a couple of times he turned on his back and expired without
a struggle. Mr. Easterday has been complaining of heart trouble at
various times. They moved to Newville from Waterloo last fall and the
neighbors were looking forward to the friendship of good citizens, as they
were ever ready to lend a helping hand in time of sickness and trouble.
He leaves a wife and we are not informed as to his other relatives.
