Services Tuesday for Mrs. Ellis

     LEONIDAS - Funeral services for Mrs. Howard (Ola) Ellis, 60, of 158 Jacksonburg St., Leonidas, who died early Friday morning in the Three Rivers Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Eickhoff Funeral Home, Mendon.
     The Rev. Garth Smith, pastor of the Leonidas Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Leonidas Cemetery.
     Mrs. Ellis was born Dec. 23, 1900, in Leonidas Township, a child of John and Emma Kimble and attended schools in this area. She was married on September 26, 1940, to Howard Ellis and had lived for the past four years in Leonidas.
     Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Harold Inman of Delton, and Robert Jordan of Battle Creek, three stepdaughters, Mrs. Viola Preston of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Erma Preston and Mrs. Delores Lewis of California, three brothers, Earl Kimble of LaPuente, Calif., Ralph Kimble of Athens and Westley Kimble of Colon, one sister, Mrs. Marie McEmis of LaPuente, Calif., and nine grandchildren. Two sons and a daughter preceded her in death.
