Mrs. C. R. Fisher (Ellen B. North) of Pearl Street died about 6 o’clock Saturday morning after an willness of several months duration. She would have been fifty-seven years old the ninth of this month.

While Mrs. Fisher’s health has been poor for a year or more, yet she was feeling much better the past few weeks. She was able to be up and around and spent a large part of Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Platter, on Ensley avenue.

Besides this daughter there is one other, Mrs. Homer Jackson of South VanBuren street. Besides the husband there are two sons, Avery of VanBuren street and Mack of Angola and several grand children.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran church, the L.O.T.M. and the Royal Neighbors.

The funeral will be held Tuesday.
