Mrs. Rebecca Hamman died Tuesday evening
Afflicted with cancer of the stomach
Funeral Friday forenoon.
At Hamilton, and burial will occur in Hamilton Cemetery – mother of Mrs.
Benjamin Duncan of Waterloo.
The expected death of Mrs. Rebecca Hamman, mother of Mrs.
Benjamin Duncan, of this place, occurred at 7:30 o’clock Tues. evening at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Musser, in the north part of Franklin
twp., where she had been making her home for the past several months.
Prior to the time that Mr. And Mrs. Duncan went to Indianapolis, Mrs. Hamman
lived with them in Waterloo. For some time it was known that Mrs. Hamman
was in a serious condition, as her ailment was diagnosed as cancer of the
stomach, and she suffered a great deal. She was about seventy-six years
of age.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, meeting
at the home at ten o’clock in the forenoon and then going to Hamilton, where
the services will be held at the church, and the interment will take place
in the Hamilton cem. Byers & Childs, the undertakers, will have
charge of the burial.
