WATERLOO -- Raymond D. Hartman, 84, died Friday at 4:16 a.m. in DeKalb Memorial Hospital more than 60 years. He was born in Smithfield Township, DeKalb County to William and Ethel (Daniels) Hartman. He was a life-time county resident.
He married Wanda Tuttle on Aug. 18, 1922 in Angola. His wife survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William, Coldwater, Mich. and Maynard "Mike" of Angola; two daughters, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Reinoehl, Ashley; and Mrs. Robert (Delores) Fee, Waldron, Mich.; two brothers, Lester, Ashley, and Veri, Waterloo; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
Mr. Hartman was a member of the Pleasant Chapel Church of the Brethren.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Feller Funeral Home. The Rev. Emery Kintner and the Rev. Roberty Ebey will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.
