Passed away Friday at St. Joseph County [Michigan] Hospital at Centreville where she had been a patient for 4 years. She was born Aug. 27, 1869 in Auburn, IN, the daughter of George Brand.  She married John Wesley Kimbel in 1887; and later that same year they moved to Michigan and settled in Leonidas area in 1889; Mr. Kimbel died in 1919.
     Survivors are: sons, Charles of Wilsie, SD, Arthur of Racine, WI, Ralph of Athens, MI, and Earl of Fulton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard Ellis of Sherwood and Mrs. George McAmis of Battle Creek; one step-son Wesley Kimbel of Colon; one sister, Mrs. Harvey Brown of Waterloo, IN; one half-sister, Mrs. Bertha Mounds of Pleasant Lake, IN; 2 half-brothers, Orie and Charles Brand of Ashley, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  
     Services held Monday at Seventh Day Adventist Church, burial Leonidas Cemetery.
