The funeral service of John Kimbel, aged 71, was held at the M.E. Church in this village [Leonidas] Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Tench.  Mr. Kimbel was a carpenter by trade, a kind neighbor and highly respected, was well known, having lived in this township for several years. A wife, nine children, and several grandchildren survive, and mourn for a faithful husband and loving father has been taken from them.
     God knoweth best and he doeth all things well.
