Ella Strow Miller

    Mrs. Ella Miller was born Mar. 16, 1862, and died at her residence one mile north of Sedan, Dekalb Co. IN, Apr. 6, 1885, aged 23 years and 20 days.  She was the daughter of William Strow, and the third of 11 children to pass away.  She was united in marriage to Henry Miller Apr. 18, 1882.  Her husband and relatives mourn her departure, her neighbors also feel sad over the loss of a kind neighbor and one loved by all.  She was taken sick about a week before her death, and departed, leaving one child, 17 months old.  She was a Christian lady and died the death of the righteous, her last words were, “Father, I’m in Jesus’ arms.”  She joined the Lutheran church at Sedan at the age of 16.  The funeral services took place before a sympathetic audience, Tues., Apr. 7, 1885, Rev. W.D. Trover officiating.
