The funeral of Mrs. Mary Cordelia Nichols, who passed
away Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Elden, was held
from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. A. H. Backus officiating.
The Pythian Sisters gave their beautiful burial service at the close of the
sermon. Interment in Butler cemetery.
Mrs. Nichols was born March 21, 1945 at Wooster,
Ohio, and came to Butler with her parents, Jimpsy and Esther Hutchinson,
when a young child and has resided in Butler since that time.
She was twice married, her first husband, Wm. Tomlinson
preceded her in death about 20 years ago. Several years ago she married
Geo. T. Nichols, who passed away Feb. 22, 1916.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ella Elden
and one grandson, Robert Elden.

of Huntington, Mrs. Carl Bercaw of Edgerton, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Rudd, Mrs.
