     Amos B. Park, one of the best known and widely distinguished citizen of Kendallville, died at his home in that city after a long illness with dropsical complication at 1:30 a.m. Friday Nov. 23, and the funeral occurred on Sunday last, Rev. McIntosh of the Presbyterian church officiating. Mr. Park was sutler of the 44th Regt. Ind. Vols. during the war, and met with some exciting experiences. He was friendly to all the boys in the regiment. His loss will be deeply felt at Kendallville.
