Services Held for Isabell Pifer, Age 83 (1960 ?)
Funeral services were
conducted Monday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Johnson funeral home for
Mrs. Isabell Pifer, 83, of Butler.
The Rev. C. W. Miller, pastor of the E. U. B. church
officiated at the services and burial followed in the Butler cemetery.
Mrs. Pifer died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth
Oberlin, Butler at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. She had been ill one week.
She was born at Moore, February 9, 1876, the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harwood. Mrs. Pifer and the late Mr.
Frederick Pifer were married April 11, 1897 at Auburn.
She was a member of the E. U. B. church, the Royal
Neighbors of Butler and Auburn, and Suits-Us-Club.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Kenneth Oberlin and Mrs.
John Moran, both of Butler; 10 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Ray Treman of Waterloo.
