Former resident dead at age of 53
    Cancer fatal to Fred Rosenberry who was formerly an employee of Dekalb Co. Highway Department.
    Fred Rosenberry, 53, a former resident of Auburn and an employee of the Dekalb Co. highway department, died about 2 p.m. Mon. at the St. Lawrence hospital at Lansing, MI.
    Mr. Rosenberry, a resident of East Lansing since he left Auburn about 10 years ago, died of cancer.  He had been a patient at the hospital for the past three months.
    The body was removed to the Gorsline & Runceman funeral home in Lansing and will remain for funeral rites to be conducted at 1 p.m. Thurs.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill cem. at Lansing.
    He was the father of Mrs. Lloyd Husselman of Rt. 3, Auburn.  Other survivors include the widow and two other children, Mrs. Florence McCord of Lansing, and Raymond Rosenberry at home; three brothers, Clarence Rosenberry of near Hamilton, Arthur Rosenberry of near Butler, and Harve Rosenberry of Huntington; and four sisters, Mrs. Melissa Carpenter of Butler, Mrs. Flora Jennings of near Butler, Mrs. Bertha Whitman of near Hamilton and Mrs. Anna Griffin of Butler.
    Mr. Rosenberry was born Dec. 10, 1900 near Butler, son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Oliver Rosenberry.  In Auburn, he was a resident on First Street.

Final rites held at Lansing, MI for Fred Rosenberry
    Funeral services were held last Thurs. in Lansing, MI, for Fred Rosenberry, 53, formerly of this community.  Mr. Rosenberry, a resident of East Lansing for the last 10 years, died on Oct. 4 of cancer.  Burial was in Chapel Hill cem. at Lansing.
