Etta M. Rowe
Ill six months, Etta M. Rowe, 92, had at 8:15 p.m. last
Tuesday at Garrett Community Hospital, where she had been hospitalized five
days.
A resident of R. 2, Waterloo, 10 miles northwest of
Auburn for 61 years, Mrs. Rowe was born to Samuel and Lucy (Dahoff) Pontius
September 5, 1881.
She married Ora E. Rowe, November 12, 1904. Mrs.
Rowe was a member of the Cedar Lake Church of Christ.
Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Gretchen
Teeters, R. 2, Waterloo and Mrs. Merlin (Dorothy) Simanton, R. 1, St. Joe;
a niece, Mrs. Mildred Myers, Auburn, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and one sister preceded Mrs. Rowe in death.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday in the Dilgard and Cline
Funeral Home, Auburn, rev. Robert Newhard? Officiated.
Burial was in Fairfield Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the Cedar Lake Church of
Christ.
