Ora E. Rowe, 95, died at 1:14 p.m. Thursday at DeKalb Memorial Hospital after a three week illness. The retired farmer and trustee's late home was on Route 2, Waterloo.
Mr. Rowe married Etta Mae Pontius, who preceded him in death in February, 1974.
He was born May 13, 1880 in Corunna to George and Lydia (Ernest) Rowe.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Teeters, at home, and Mrs. Merlin (Dorothy) Simington, St. Joe; a brother, Harry Rowe, Howe, Mich., a sister, Mrs. Daisy Johnson, Bluffton; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Rowe was a member of the Cedar Lake Church of Christ. The body is at the Dilgard and Cline Funeral Home, Auburn, where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. Calling will be after 2 p.m. Saturday.
