Robert H. Shipe, 58, Ashley, died Sunday at DeKalb Hospital, Auburn. He was born in Hudson to Bert and Hannah Cottrell Shipe.
Surviving are his wife, Rose Ellen Rowe Shipe; three sons, Stephen A. Shipe, Waterloo; Gregory R. Shipe, Golden Lake; and James B. Shipe, at home; one daughter, Peggy R. Shipe, at home; two brothers, John Shipe, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Carl Shipe, Golden Lake; and one grandchild.
Mr. Shipe was retired from International Harvester and also owned a saw sharpening business in Ashley for 20 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Ashley Masonic Lodge 614.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Kistler Funeral Home, Ashley-Hudson, with the Rev. Vern Noll officiating. Masonic services were held Tuesday evening.
Burial will be in Circle Cemetery, Hudson. Memorials may be made to the Ashley Masonic Lodge.
