HUDSON.  - Dale W. Statler, 64, of Route 1, Hudson, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday at his home.
     He was born Dec. 4, 1918 in Decatur to Dorus and Catherine (Roop) Statler.  He married Dorothy Kiefer on Oct. 18, 1941.  His wife survives.
     Mr. Statler retired from General Electric Co. Fort Wayne in 1980 after 37 years services.
     Other survivors include one son, Larry of Garrett, two brothers, Dorus of Tucson, Ariz. , Robert of Reno, Nev. And three grandchildren.
     One brother, Milo preceded Mr. Statler in death.
     Mr. Statler was a World War II Army veteran and member of the Zion Lutheran church, Decatur.
     Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in McKee-Miles Funeral Home, Garrett, with Rev. Lorin Harrison officiating.
     Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
     Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Decatur Cemetery, with graveside military rites by the Decatur American Legion.
