     HEMMORRHAGE FATAL TO AUBURN STUDENT Rohland Lee Thomas, Age 11, Passes Away After Apparently Recovering from Attack of Lobar Pneumonia Rohland Lee Thomas, 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thomas, residing on the Snyder farm, formerly the Sheffer farm on the brick road south of Auburn, died at 1:30 o'clock Monday morning from a hemorrhage, the result of lobar pneumonia. Rohland was taken ill three weeks ago on Saturday. He apparently was recovering. An abscess which formed on the lung resulted in the hemorrhage a short time before his death. Rohland was the youngest of four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and was born at Martin, near Toledo, Ohio. He was a pupil in the sixth grade of the DeSoto school in East Auburn. Surviving are the parents and three brothers, Eugene, in the Auburn high school, residing with his parents; Reynold of West Seventh street and Hoyte of Fort Wayne. The funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the John R. Clark funeral home in charge of a speaker from Jehovah's Witnesses of Fort Wayne. The body will remain at the funeral home so Rohland's school friends may call.
