Mae B. Slaybaugh Trovinger

Mae B. Trovinger, 81, died at 1 a.m.
Tuesday in the Dr. Bonnell M. Souder hospital following a three month illness.
She was a patient in the hospital five days. She resided at 702 West Seventh
street, Auburn for the last 45 years. She was born in Fairfield township
in 1888 and attended Ashley High School. She moved to Auburn in 1906. She
married Edwin C. Trovinger Nov. 25, 1911, in Auburn. Mr. Trovinger died March
2, 1956. The couple had four children. They include one son, Roy Trovinger
of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Mrs. Howard Renkel, Jeffersonville, Ind.,
Mrs. Eugene Thomas, 704 West Seventh street, Auburn and Miss Isabell Trovinger
of Fort Wayne, and six grandchildren. Her parents were Hiram Slaybaugh and
Ada Gonser, both deceased. She had three brothers who proceeded her in death.
Mrs. Trovinger was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran church in Auburn.
The arraignments are being handled by Dilgard & Cline funeral home. The
funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. George
Schuette will officiate with burial in the Woodlawn cemetery. Friends may
call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
