A retired farmer, Howard B. Wagoner, 69, of Route 1, Pleasant Lake, died Saturday morning in Elmhurst Hosptial, Angola.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the swift Funeral Home, Hamilton, with reverend Amos McGinnis, pastor of the Hamilton United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment followed in Hamilton Cemetery.

A lifetime area resident, Wagoner was born August 20, 1904, to Sumner and Mary (Kiplinger) Wagoner.

He was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Burch, Spearman, Texas; Mrs. Brenda Sanders, Indianapolis; California; nine grandchildren; one brother, Dale Wagoner, North Liberty and a sister, Mrs. Mable Wagner, of Auburn.
