     Spencerville—Fred W. Watson, 88, died Monday at 5:58 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, Fort Wayne.  He was a retired Spencerville farmer.

      Mr. Watson was born Sept. 14, 1904, in Allen County to the late William and Bertha (Grimm) Watson.

     Surviving are one sister, Annis Kessler of Kalamazoo, Mich.: one niece, Mary Morseman of Kalamazoo; three nephews, Mack L. Watson of Auburn, Rex Watson of Avilla, and Richard Kessler of Spencerville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

    Friends may call Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. in Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville.

     Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Cedar Creek Church of Christ, Leo, with the Rev. Ron Collins officiating.  Burial will be in White City Cemetery, Spencerville.
