Eakright
Hattie,
daughter of Thomas and Hellen Woods was born in DeKalb County, Indiana,
March 24, 1855 and died October 29, 1926, at the age of 71 years, 7
months and 5
days.
She
was united in marriage to William Eakright in 1877. To this union
were
born two children, a daughter, Cora May, and a son, Claud. The
father and
daughter having preceded the mother in death.
The
deceased became a member of the Church of Christ
about
thirty years ago, and remained in fellowship until she passed
away.
She was a faithful wife, a kind mother and obliging neighbor.
To
mourn this loss there are left the son, Claud, one grandson, one
sister, Mrs.
Wm. Matheney, and two brothers Edward, of Lagrange County, Indiana,
and
George of Michigan.
The
funeral service was held at the Church
of Christ, Oct. 31, conducted
by the
pastor, D. A. Shaw, and burial was made in the Butler Cemetery.
