According to the children's birth states they were in Iowa in 1855; Kansas in 1864; back in Iowa in 1862 and Kansas in 1863; and on the McDonald Co., Mo. special census in 1876. SURNAME: BEER, KRAEHENBUEHL, AMANN In 1882, Ulrich Beer purchased a steamship ticket for my Great Grandmother MaryAnna Kraehenbuehl to immigrate from Berne SWZ to Elkhart Indiana. MaryAnna eventually went to Davenport Iowa and married John Amann. I believe the Beer family was related to the Kraehenbuehl family. I have christmas cards from Indiana to my Grandmother Bertha Marie Bargholz [Amann] from the 30's signed "your cousin" Any information would be greatly appreciated.
