PRINCETON PUBLIC LIBRARY Genealogy Department 124 South Hart St. Princeton, IN 47670 812-385-4464 Delanie Alcorn-Jones said: "It's just south of the downtown square. Call ahead for hours to the Princeton Library.

The genealogy room is on the lower floor and is not open if there's not staff to man it. Even though their sign on the door said the genealogy room was open on Saturday, [the day I went] they wouldn't open it because there was no one to staff it. At the moment, it's only open M-F. [May 98] It appears it will be closed Saturdays for quite a while. The Willlard Library was open so this was an excellent backup plan."
