CAYWOOD or HUGHES CEMETERY

Directions:
This cemetery is on the south side of 425N, just west of where the road
makes a 90° turn to the north. From the corner, take the drive
that goes south over the old railroad bed. Cross west over the north/south
fencerow. Walk south along the fence. The cemetery is to the
west. The square of trees stands alone in the middle of the field.

Condition:
This cemetery is not fenced, mowed, or maintained. Three of the four
corner posts are standing and most burials seem to be in the northwest corner
of the cemetery. There are some large granite stack stones that are
leaning badly or already fallen. The tablets that were found are on the ground.
There is a very large tablet for Angeline Chadwick and her infant daughter
