Lewisville, In. Helen R. Kendall 94 Lewisville died Monday morning March 10, 1997 at her home after a brief illness.

She was born Feb.2, 1903 in Rush county to William and Elizabeth Engle Dishman and had lived all her life in the Lewisville area. In 1996 she received the Lewisville Oldest Citizen Award at the annual Stoplight Festival.

Surviors included two daughters Jean Reed of Lewisville and Maudie Marcum of Albany KY, two sons Dean Kendall of New Castle and Macey Kendall of Cadis ,18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one brother William Dishman, one sister Isabelle Brown of New Castle, neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Eugene Kendall Feb. 1976, two sons Robert E and Danny R Kendall and 13 brothers and sisters.

Service will be 10 am Friday at Marshall Funeral Home-Lewisville Chapel with Rev Marion Hickman and Arthur Whitaker officiation. Buriel will be in the Lewisville Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 8 pm Thursday and before the service Friday at the funeral home.
