James Batson
James Batson, 74 years old, died Tuesday Morning at his home southwest of Straughn. He leaves the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Robert Huffman, Lewisville, two sons Russell and Roscoe at home one sister, Mrs. George Huddleston, New Castle.
Funeral services are being held Thursday afternoon in the Presbyterian church at Lewisville with burial at the Lewisville Cemetery.

Funeral services for James Batson 74, who died at his home southwest of Straughn, were held in the Presbyterian church in Lewisville Thursday. The Rev.Lura Milligan of Dublin officiated assisted by the Rev. H.M Daily. Mr. Batson was a resident of this vicinity all his life and was well known here. Besides the widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Huffman of Lewisville and two sons Russell and Roscoe at home also one sister Mrs. George Huddleston of New Castle. Burial was made in the local cemetery.
