Ellis Bock, 65, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at his home, 1918 Roosevelt Ave. Death was the result of a heart attack.
A resident of New Castle the past 35 years, Mr. Bock had come here from West Virginia. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, a veteran of World War I, serving in the Navy, and was employed as a salesman for Bradley-Hall Furniture Co.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Audrey Bock; a son, Stanley Bock of Terre Haute; a brother, James of Detroit; three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Davis-Couden Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Ernest Lawshe, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
