Clipping hand dated 2/15/47 Charles A. Bowne Charles A. Bowne, 60, of 125 S. 18th St., died Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Clinic following an illness of several months. He formerly was employed at the New Castle Casket Co. Mr. Bowne was a member of the Eagles lodge. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Irvin C. Dyer and Mrs. Charles B. Tower, both of New Castle; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sherman Smith, Dublin and a brother, Clint Bowne, Cambridge City. The body is at the Stanley mortuary where friends may call at any time. Services will be conducted at the Stanley chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and burial will take place in South Mound cemetery.
