Clipping hand dated Oct 15, 45

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Brown, age 33, formerly of New Castle and wife of Earl Brown of Pendleton, who died Saturday morning, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Sloan funeral home in Pendleton. Burial was in South Mound cemetery here. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Wishmyer of Pendleton, and Dr. George Greer and Mrs. Maurine Fisher of New Castle.

Mrs. Brown was a graduate of the New Castle high school with the class of 1930. She had resided in Pendleton for 12 years.

Surviving besides the husband are 3 children, Jimmy, Judy and 2-week-old Janet Kay; her mother, Mrs. Levi Cook, of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. Marion Long, of New Castle, and a brother, Robert E. Cook, of Vincennes.
